Job Description
As part of the Special Projects Team, you will be part of a dynamic, fast paced & colloboarative team working closely with Product Development and Marketing by focusing on both new and established product lines aimed at global markets, including licensed and non-licensed distribution channels.

Primary responsibilities will revolve around crafting packaging artwork, establishing branding, developing brand assets, and structuring diverse packaging formats.

Key responsibilities

Creating and developing new brand logos and designs
n
Preparing for final art and creating construction dielines
n
Recommending and developing the optimum packaging structure for products and brands
n
Develop packaging solutions showcasing product features and functions while keeping the customers in mind
n
Proactively gathering relevant information to make the packaging exceptional such as photography, content, and illustration
n
Working with licensors; taking into consideration feedback and comments while making recommendations
n
Creating, refining, following style guide as needed by brands
n
Maintaining timeline and budget while adhering to style guide where required
n
Designing for print and packaging 3D production and leading in the creative process
n
Leading the design for trade shows, retail shows, PR, etc. as requested
n

About you




n
n
Minimum of 5 years related experience in packaging design
n
Knowledge of the toy industry – preferred
n
Understands all elements of design: illustration, page layout, color and typography
n
Strong understanding of complex dielines and packaging construction
n
Ability to create in-house mocks and prototypes of packaging
n
Ability to export for final art
n
Strong understanding of print media production
n
Exceptional design and layout skills
n
Must be able to accept creative feedback and follow through with art direction when given
n
Tertiary qualified in relevant field, e.g. Graphic Design or similar
n
