EXPERIENCED FORKLIFT OPERATORS - COLD STORAGE
n
We are seeking reliable, experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operators for ongoing work in a busy Cold Storage environment.
n
This is a full-time hours, Monday to Friday position, and we are looking for people who are genuinely seeking secure, ongoing work.
n
SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE:
n
n
Proven Counterbalance Forklift experience
n
Experience operating Crown Joystick machinery
n
Experience using Slipsheet / Push Plate attachments
n
Current LF Forklift Licence
n
n
THE ROLE ALSO INVOLVES:
n
n
General warehouse and labouring duties as required
n
Container unloading
n
Manual handling and the ability to safely lift up to 25kg
n
Working as part of a team in a Cold Storage environment
n
n
HOURS:
n
n
Monday to Friday - 38 hours per week
n
AM Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm
n
PM Shift: 2:30pm - 10:30pm
n
Applicants must be flexible and available for overtime when required
n
n
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS:
n
n
Full,



unrestricted working rights in Australia
n
This position is not suitable for Working Holiday or Student Visa holders due to the ongoing, full-time hours and availability required
n
Strong verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to clearly communicate with supervisors and co-workers and understand workplace instructions and safety procedures
n
Current Driver Licence and reliable vehicle
n
Own PPE, including steel-capped safety boots
n
Freezer clothing rated to -47°C preferred - assistance with purchasing suitable freezer gear can be provided if required
n
Current clean Victorian Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
n
n
