The Opportunity
n
As our Operations Manager, you'll work closely with the Principal and senior leadership team to oversee the firm's day-to-day operations, people management, systems and governance.
n
You'll be responsible for ensuring the business runs efficiently while implementing processes that support sustainable growth and operational excellence.
n
This role is ideal for an experienced operations professional who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands‐on execution and thrives in a professional services environment.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead the firm's operational functions, ensuring efficient and consistent business performance.
n
Manage employee onboarding, induction, training, performance management and offboarding.
n
Maintain leave, attendance and workforce planning systems.
n
Develop, implement and continuously improve policies, procedures and operational workflows.
n
Oversee the firm's practice management systems, including LEAP.
n
Manage relationships with IT providers and other external service partners.
n




Support recruitment activities and workforce planning.
n
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and operational financial management.
n
Support leadership with financial oversight and reporting.
n
Coordinate compliance, governance and risk management initiatives.
n
Oversee the operational delivery of internal communications and marketing activities.
n
Partner closely with leadership to ensure strategic decisions are effectively implemented across the business.

Skills & Experience
n
n
7+ years' experience in operations, practice management or business management within a legal or professional services environment.
n
Proven experience leading people and managing operational systems and processes.
n
Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
n
Strong understanding of governance, compliance and risk management.
n
Experience using legal practice management software, with LEAP highly regarded.
n
Excellent organisational and project management skills.
n
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
n
High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
