About the role
n
Reporting to the Head of Construction, you will lead a small team of Project Managers and Site Managers while taking responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple projects. You will remain closely involved in the detail, overseeing complex, design-led architectural packages across commercial construction and fitout projects, from design coordination and fabrication through to site installation and completion.

Key responsibilities
n
Leading and supporting Project Managers and Site Managers
n
Overseeing projects from handover through to completion
n
Programming, scheduling and resource planning
n
Design, shop drawing and technical coordination
n
Budget management, forecasting and variations
n
Client, builder, architect and consultant liaison
n
Coordinating fabrication, procurement and site installation
n
Managing subcontractors, suppliers, WHS and project risk
n
Resolving technical, commercial and site issues
n
Driving projects to completion on time, on budget and to a high standard
n




About you
n
Solid Senior Project Management or Construction Management experience
n
Experience delivering technically detailed commercial projects
n
Experience within specialist contracting, façade, glazing, architectural metalwork, structural steel, commercial interiors or fitout
n
Strong commercial capability across budgets, forecasting, variations and project costs
n
Experience leading or mentoring project and site teams
n
Strong builder, client and consultant management skills
n
A hands-on approach to project delivery
n
A qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Building, Engineering or a related discipline will be well regarded.
n
This is a strong opportunity for a Senior PM seeking greater leadership responsibility, or an experienced Construction Manager who wants to remain close to project delivery.
