We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our Accounts team on a 16-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity leave cover.
n
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience in day-to-day accounts administration who enjoys variety and wants exposure across accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
n
Key responsibilities
n
Process payroll, including timesheets, leave and employee payroll documentation.
n
Accounts receivable; including raising customer invoices, allocating payments and monitoring outstanding balances.
n
Respond to routine payroll and supplier queries, and assist with debt collection activities.
n
Match invoices against purchase orders and supporting documentation.
n
Maintain accurate customer and supplier records.
n
Assist with account reconciliations and customer statements
n
Provide general accounts and administrative support to the wider finance function.
n
About you
n
Experience in accounts administration, bookkeeping or a similar finance role.
n
Comfortable working across accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
n
Accurate, organised and reliable with robust attention to detail.
n
Confident using accounting software such as Reckon, QuickBooks or Xero, and Microsoft Excel.
n
Professional when communicating with customers, suppliers and employees.
n
Able to work independently and contribute effectively as part of a small team.
n
