Sitting across the negotiating table with carriers and 3PLs on pricing, contracts and service terms, and holding them to account through regular scorecards and reviews.
n
Taking ownership of how freight costs are recovered from customers, closing gaps that let revenue slip through unnoticed.

Getting hands-on with the numbers:
checking carrier invoices line by line against agreed rates and actual shipments, chasing down credits where something doesn't add up, and signing off invoices within your authority.

Working day to day with warehouse and distribution centre teams to keep deliveries running smoothly, and stepping in when something goes wrong for a customer.

n
Comfortable leading a small team and building relationships across warehouse, customer and carrier stakeholders.
