We're looking for experienced Land Surveyors with a strong civil construction background who want to develop into Hydrographic Surveyors on marine construction and dredging projects across Australia.
n
You don't need hydrographic experience — we'll help you build it.
n
What matters is your technical surveying ability, construction experience and willingness to learn and put in the work.
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
5–7 years' surveying experience, ideally with a civil contractor
n
Surveying qualification / TAFE or similar
n
Strong experience with Total Stations, Digital Levels & GNSS
n
12d or similar software experience
n
Experience with Trimble MC / Topcon 3D MC or similar
n
Mobile laser scanning experience advantageous
n
Drone/UAV experience advantageous – not essential
n
Practical, hands‐on approach and solid work ethic
n
Flexibility to work FIFO across Australia
n
Have a growth mindset, positive attitude and a team approach
n
n
The Package

$110K–$135K + Super

*****% Project Uplift dependent on projects and rosters
n
Up to $20K Car Allowance
n
FIFO from major East Coast cities preferred
n
***** & 2/1, 8/6 rosters,



depending on project requirements – flexibility is a must!

This is more than another FIFO surveying job.
n
You'll be given the opportunity to develop a specialist skillset in hydrographic surveying, dredging and marine construction including exposure to:

Bathymetric and hydrographic surveying
n
Survey control and set‐out
n
GNSS and marine positioning systems
n
Machine control and digital construction systems
n
Specialist marine survey equipment and software
n
n
All whilst working alongside experienced professionals who will guide and support your development on major projects across Australia.
n
Land Surveyor → Hydrographic Surveyor → Marine Survey Specialist
n
