ALH Recruitment is partnering with a leading civil contractor to recruit motivated labourers for ongoing road maintenance and infrastructure projects based out of Gympie.

Duties
n
n
Assist with spray seal and asphalt operations
n
Raking, shovelling and spreading materials
n
Loading and unloading plant, equipment and materials
n
Drive crew trucks between depots and project sites
n
Assist plant operators and spray crews
n
General civil and road construction labouring
n
Set up and pack down work sites
n
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
n
n
No spray seal experience? No worries. If you've got a solid work ethic, enjoy hands-on work and are keen to learn a specialist trade, full on-the-job training will be provided.

Essential Requirements:
n
n
Construction White Card (Essential)
n
Current Driver Licence and reliable transport
n
Able to work Day Shift, Night Shift and Away Work when required
n
Physically fit and capable of manual labour
n
Able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical
n
Able to pass Drug & Alcohol Screening
n
n
Desirable Tickets & Experience
n
n
Previous Spray Seal or Asphalt experience
n
Civil Construction experience
n
Roller, Skid Steer or Excavator tickets
n
Traffic Control tickets
n
Working at Heights
n
Confined Space
n
HR Truck Licence
n
Plant operating experience
n
