Job Description

Fulltime Fixed Term Contract till June 27, with likely extension

Lead the intake team engaging with clients seeking admission to our residential program and supporting them on their recovery journey.
n
Develop solid working partnerships with Drug Courts, MERIT Teams, Detoxification Services and more.
n
n
The Odyssey House Residential Program is a large, mixed gender, drug and alcohol rehabilitation program where clients participate in either a 12 week short term recovery program or a longer term program. Odyssey House is a Therapeutic Community, a structured recovery orientated environment where residents provide mutual support.
n
DUTIES INCLUDE
n
n
Leading and co-ordinating the intake team with responsibility for the allocation of work.
n
People management including, recruitment, onboarding, performance management with the Senior Residential Programs Manager, performance appraisals, mentoring and support.
n
Provide direct support and line supervision to the intake team.
n
Provide direct input into procedures relevant to the intake team and intake/admission processes.
n
Facilitating and supporting people on their recovery journey,



handling the assessment and admission process.
n
Administrative tasks as required including but not limited to file management, report writing, auditing
n
Lead the admissions review group meeting to determine suitability of applicants to the program.
n

Requirement
n
n
Experience leading teams, providing support and mentoring
n
Experience relating to quality improvement, responding to client feedback, complaint management
n
VET Certificate or Diploma in relevant area or in process of obtaining.
n
Experience with supporting people with AOD support needs and/or mental health support needs.
n
Demonstrated experience working within a residential or similarly complex program of facility.
n
Hold a current NSW Driver's License.
n
Unlimited right to live and work in Australia.
n
