Wagga Fire Security is looking for a Portable Fire Technician to join our growing team.
n
If you've already got experience in the fire industry, great. If you're mechanically minded, positive with customers and keen to build a career in fire protection, we'd still like to hear from you.

We're looking for the right person – someone reliable, switched on and happy to get out there and get the job done properly.
n
The Role
n
As a Portable Fire Technician, you'll be out on the road servicing our customers throughout Wagga Wagga and the surrounding region.
n
Your day-to-day will include:
n
n
Testing and servicing portable fire equipment
n
Fire extinguishers, fire blankets, hose reels and related equipment
n
Completing inspections and service documentation
n
Identifying defects and recommending required works
n
Working across commercial, industrial and other customer sites
n
Building good relationships with customers
n
Making sure work is completed safely, professionally and to the required standards
n
n
You won't be stuck behind a desk all day. It's a hands-on role with plenty of variety and independence.
n
What We're Looking For
n
We're after someone who:
n
n
Is reliable and takes pride in their work
n
Is comfortable working independently and managing their day
n




Has good communication and customer service skills
n
Is organised and can keep paperwork and service records up to date
n
Has a current Australian driver's licence
n
Has fire industry experience or relevant qualifications highly regarded
n
Is willing to learn and develop their skills
n
Most importantly, we want someone with the right attitude.
