Mile End Bagels is seeking reliable, hands-on supervisors to join our central kitchen in Fitzroy.
n
We are an established, quick-paced bagel business producing wood-fired bagels and specialty coffee across four Melbourne locations. Our central prep kitchen supports all stores and operates 7 days a week, 6:45am-4:00pm.
n
We have roles available for those who enjoys structure, consistency, and joining a tight, well-organised kitchen.
n
Lead daily prep shifts and support a small kitchen team
n
Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and food safety (wrap, date + FIFO to a safety standard)
n
Ensure prep runs to schedule (slicing meats, pickle veggies, WHIP cream cheese, make chicken salad, etc)
n
Supervise, and support kitchen staff on shift
n
Delegate tasks and manage workflow efficiently
n
Order ingredients, receive deliveries, and manage stock levels
n
Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and equipment standards
n
Communicate clearly with the operations team
n
