About our Client:

Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer and supplier of roll-formed steel building products. They specialize in steel roofing, wall cladding, rainwater products (gutters and fascias), structural purlins, flooring, and roller doors for residential and commercial projects.
n
About the Role:
n
The role will involve working in their manufacturing section with machinery
operating/manufacturing
mill work. You will be responsible for operating and monitoring folding machinery to ensure products are manufactured safely, accurately and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Set up and operate folding machines and associated equipment
n
Read and follow job specifications and production instructions
n
Check finished products for quality and accuracy
n
Make machine adjustments as required
n
Monitor production output and minimise waste
n
Carry out basic machine maintenance and cleaning
n
Follow workplace health and safety procedures
n
Maintain a clean and organised work area
n
n
About You
n
n
Previous experience operating folding or production machinery
n
Good grasp on mathematics
n
Good attention to detail and quality
n
Ability to read and understand job specifications
n
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
n
Solid reliability and work ethic
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Commitment to workplace health and safety
n
A background in Sheet Metal would be highly regarded
n
n
