n Roster – 7 days on 7 days off, 7 nights on 7 nights off (12 hour shifts)

The Opportunity

As a Maintenance Fitter, you will play a key role in keeping a busy FMCG production facility running efficiently. Working alongside an experienced maintenance team, you will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance across a range of production and processing equipment.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for a trade-qualified fitter who enjoys working in a rapid-paced manufacturing environment and wants the opportunity to significantly increase your earnings through overtime.

About the Role
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Preventative and reactive maintenance across production equipment
n
Mechanical fault finding and breakdown response
n
Repairs, servicing and continuous improvement of plant and machinery
n
Working across conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, pneumatics, hydraulics and automated production equipment
n
Supporting planned maintenance programs
n
Minimising production downtime
n
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
n
Working closely with production and other members of the maintenance team
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for a qualified Maintenance Fitter / Mechanical Fitter who ideally has:
n
n
Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering / Fitting
n
Previous experience in Manufacturing
n
Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
n
Experience with preventative and reactive maintenance
n
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
n
Strong safety focus
n
Good communication and problem-solving skills
n
A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within a leading manufacturing business
n
