About the role
n
As Assistant Manager, you'll support the Venue Manager with day-to-day hotel operations, team leadership and shift execution.
n
What you'll be doing
n
n
Lead shifts across bar, bistro, gaming, retail and function areas
n
Support team members with training, daily direction and service expectations
n
Maintain venue presentation, cleanliness and customer experience
n
Assist with rostering, stock, cash handling, compliance and shift reporting
n
Respond to customer feedback and operational issues calmly and professionally
n
Work closely with the Venue Manager to support team and venue performance
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n




Experience in a pub, hotel, club or similar hospitality venue
n
Confidence leading teams during busy service periods
n
Strong customer service skills and a calm, practical approach on shift
n
Comfortable working across FOH and BOH duties, including admin and operational support
n
Current RSA and RSG required; RMLV/Approved Manager and CLO highly regarded
n
Flexible availability across days, nights, weekends and public holidays
n
