Springwood Family Medical Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate RN or EEN to join their well-established and growing general practice located in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney.
Key Responsibilities
Assist GPs with procedures
Minor surgery and clinical assessments
Coordinate Chronic Disease Management (CDM)
GP Management Plans
Team Care Arrangements and Health Assessments
Perform immunisations, wound care, ECGs, spirometry, ear syringing and other clinical procedures within scope of practice
Educate patients on preventative health, chronic disease management and healthy lifestyle choices
Maintain accurate clinical records using Best Practice software




Participate in quality improvement activities, infection control and accreditation requirements
Work collaboratively with doctors, reception staff and allied health professionals to provide outstanding patient care
Selection Criteria
Current AHPRA registration as an RN or EEN
Experience in general practice, treatment room nursing and Chronic Disease Management
Ability to work independently and provide patient-centred care
Experience with Best Practice Medical Software
Current immunisation certification and qualifications in Medication Administration and IV are highly regarded
