Edge Glass and Aluminium is an established commercial aluminium/glazing company in Tullamarine currently seeking an experienced Fabricator to join our factory team in the manufacturing of commercial aluminium frames, doors and windows.
n
We manufacture a wide variety of Aluminium fixed/sliding windows, hinged/sliding and bifold doors, awnings and more for both commercial and residential applications.
n
Applicants need to possess the following skills;
n
n
Ability to accurately read and understand shop drawings and plans
n
Understanding of fabrication of windows and coordination of materials, assembly and production
n
Effective liaison and negotiation skills when dealing with suppliers for ordering and supplying of materials
n




Understanding, maintaining and implementing Protected Work Practices
n
Effective communication with staff and management team
n
Excellent attention to detail
n
Ability to work under pressure
n
Hands on experience in manufacturing of aluminium frames, doors and windows
n
Operating power and hand tools
n
Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
n
Forklift license preferred, but not required.
n
n
A package commensurate to align with skills and experiencewill be offered to the successful candidate.
