As an
Assistant Venue Manager
in M&G; Café & Harvest Buffet, you will be a pro-active and enthusiastic individual who is an expert within leading a large and diverse team.
In this role you will assist with the day–to-day operation of these high volume venues providing effective management of a dynamic team.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your food and beverage leadership and customer service skills.
A few of your responsibilities:
Maintain a high level of guest focus in all services, ensuring that guest service delivery is effective and efficient
Coordinate operational functions that include rostering requirements, standard operating procedures, training and performance management
Ensure compliance with the Responsible Service of Alcohol and relevant provisions of the Liquor Act
Assist with the selection, training and development of the team to ensure timely recruitment and career growth opportunities
Assist the Venue Manager to achieve operational and financial targets
What are we looking for:
Food & Beverage leadership experience with a thorough knowledge of food and beverages
A passion and enthusiasm for the hospitality industry and leading operational teams to deliver great guest experiences
Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guests and team members
Highly organised, accountable, and eager, with a high attention to detail
Accreditation in Responsible Service of Alcohol – RMLV/Approved Manager an advantage
