Are you a hands-on Maintenance Fitter who enjoys fixing, improving and building things?
n
We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician / Fitter to join our client at their Broadmeadows facility.
n
This is a varied, hands-on role covering mechanical maintenance, stainless steel TIG welding, fabrication, equipment repairs and site improvements.
n
What you'll be doing
n
Preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance.
n
Stainless steel TIG welding and fabrication.
n
Maintenance and refurbishment of tanks, fillers and processing equipment.
n
Maintenance of labelling machines and bulk fill equipment.
n
Fabrication and installation of gates and site infrastructure.
n
Equipment removal, modifications and site improvements.
n
Maintaining site maintenance and testing registers.
n




What we're looking for
n
Qualified Maintenance Fitter / Mechanical Fitter or similar.
n
Strong TIG welding skills – stainless steel.
n
Solid mechanical and fabrication experience.
n
Chemical / Dangerous Goods experience is essential.
n
A practical, proactive approach to problem solving.
n
Someone who enjoys working autonomously and taking ownership of their work.
n
What's on offer?

38 hours per week
n
Monday–Thursday: 7:30am–4:00pm
n
Friday: 7:30am–1:30pm – early finish!
n
Ongoing temporary position with a view to permanent
n
