My client is a respected and leading service provider to multiple international insurance and reinsurance companies with longstanding relationships lasting 10 years +

Due to the continued growth of the business we are pleased to be able to bring to the market a newly created role of Head of Finance. The role will see you responsible for:
n
n
Leading two teams of 15 financial accountants and financial ops
n
Delivery of Insurance clients financial deliverables including financial reporting and regulatory obligations (including ASIC and APRA reporting),
n
Ensuring financial SLAs are completed with accuracy and timeliness
n
Oversea workflow management and service delivery standards
n
Development of the team including 1-2 managers who directly report to the role
n
Presenting financial results to clients both face to face and online
n
Onboarding new clients
n
Developing and enhancing current process and procedures within finance function.
n
n

You will need to demonstrate:
n
n
Significant experience in leading teams within financial accounting and ideally within the general insurance industry
n
Strong people management including rolling out and implementing people development programs to ensure teams are fully supported
n
CPA qualification
n
Ideally experience in working with ASIC and APRA reporting
n
Proven experience in driving teams to ensure financial reporting is delivered on time and accurately
n
Experience in process mapping, managing QA frameworks and identifying risk.
n
Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver financial results and reporting in a face to face meeting presentation format.
n
