We are a leading multidisciplinary Building Services Engineering consultancy seeking an experienced Hydraulic Engineer to join our dynamic team. You'll play a key role in designing innovative hydraulic systems for landmark commercial, residential, healthcare, and education projects across Greater Sydney.
n
About the Role
n
You will be responsible for the full design and documentation of hydraulic services, including:
n
n
Cold & hot water systems
n
Sanitary drainage and sewer systems
n
Stormwater management and rainwater harvesting
n
Fire hydrant and hose reel systems
n
Gas services
n
Water treatment and pumping systems
n
Sustainable water solutions (greywater, blackwater recycling)
n
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Prepare hydraulic designs, calculations, and technical drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, and hydraulic modelling software
n
Undertake site inspections, condition assessments, and commissioning support
n
Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, and clients
n
Ensure compliance with Australian Standards (AS/NZS ****, NCC, Sydney Water requirements, etc.)
n
Contribute to tender documentation and cost estimates
n




Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
n
n
What You'll Bring
n
n
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent
n
5+ years' experience in hydraulic design within building services
n
Strong working knowledge of Revit and hydraulic engineering software
n
Proven track record delivering projects in commercial, high-rise residential, or infrastructure sectors
n
CPEng or NPER registration (highly regarded)
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
Current Australian working rights
n
