About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join a well-established Australian-owned organisation on a permanent basis.
n
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the financial function, supporting month-end processes and providing accurate financial reporting and analysis to the wider business.
n
This is a broad Financial Accounting position suited to someone who enjoys working across a range of responsibilities and taking ownership of their work in a collaborative finance team.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Manage month-end financial accounting and reporting processes
n
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
n
Manage intercompany accounting and recharges
n
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
n
Support tax and statutory compliance requirements
n
Prepare management and ad hoc financial reports
n
Assist with year-end reporting and audit requirements
n
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls
n
Work closely with the Financial Controller and key internal stakeholders
n

About You




n
n
5+ years' experience in Financial Accounting or a similar role
n
Demonstrated experience with intercompany recharges – essential
n
Strong knowledge of financial accounting and reporting principles
n
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
n
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
n
Robust Excel and ERP systems experience
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification is desirable
n
A proactive approach with the ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
n
