The opportunity

Veritas foods is seeking a passionate and dedicated Kitchen Assistant/Piping Assistant to join our team in Homebush, NSW. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our talented chefs in delivering exceptional ready meal to families across australia.
n
What you'll be doing
n
Assist our chefs with food preparation and plating meals.
n
Prep/ cook kids meals/ baked goods and pipe puree into trays.
n
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workplace, ensuring all work surfaces, equipment and utensils are kept spotless.
n
Accurately follow recipes and preparation instructions provided by the chefs.
n
Stock and restock kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed.
n
Comply with all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
n
Provide exceptional customer service to our diners when interacting with them in the kitchen.
n
What we're looking for
n
Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or Preparation Cook in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment.
n
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
n
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
n
A keen interest in food and cooking,



with a passion for providing high-quality food.
n
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
n
Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards and Haccp procedures.
