Provide high-quality clinical dental assistance and instrument reprocessing to support dental professionals in treating and preventing dental diseases as part of the dental team.

The Role
n
An opportunity has become available for several Dental Assistants to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our ******-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
n
You will
n
n
Prepare equipment, instruments and materials utilised in a variety of dental procedures
n
Assist in the prevention, identification and management of medical emergencies
n
Assist in the administrative functions
n
Ensure the use of infection control protocols and relevant Standards for cleaning
n
n
About you
n
To be successful in this position you will require:
n
n
Certificate III in Sterilisation and/or Dental Assisting or relevant higher current qualification
n
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
n
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
n
Driver Licence
n
Working with children check
n
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
n
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)
n

Base salary ranging from $68,471 - $72,058 per annum or $2,****** - $2,762 per fortnight or $***** – $***** per hour
