Role Overview
n
We are seeking an experienced and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our team in Sydney. This is a full 360° recruitment role: you will both win new client business and personally deliver the recruitment mandates you bring in, managing the entire process end to end. This is an excellent opportunity for a recruitment professional who wants ownership over both the business development and delivery sides of the desk.

Key Responsibilities
n
Business Development & Client Acquisition:
n
n
Identify,
prospect and win new clients focusing on innovative SMEs and mid tier companies across Australia and Asia Pacific.
n
Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients through market research, networking, outreach and industry events.
n
Pitch and negotiate recruitment mandates, agreeing scope, terms and fees with new and existing clients.
n
Represent Australiance Group at events and networking opportunities to build the Talent brand and generate current business.
n
n
Recruitment Delivery:
n
n
Manage the full recruitment cycle for your own client mandates: briefing, sourcing, screening, interviewing and shortlisting candidates.
n
Coordinate the interview process between candidates and clients, and manage offer negotiation through to placement.
n
Build and maintain a strong network and talent pipeline across the Australian and Asia Pacific markets.
n
Ensure a high-quality candidate experience and a 5-star service standard throughout the recruitment process.
n
n
Relationship Management:
n
n
Maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and candidates to encourage retention, repeat business and referrals.
n
Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Community, Access) to identify cross-selling opportunities across the group's service lines.
n
Act as a trusted advisor to clients on hiring strategy and market/salary trends.
n
n
International & Market Expertise:
n
n
Support clients with an international dimension to their hiring needs, leveraging Australiance Group's presence in France and Africa where relevant.
n
Stay across market trends, salary benchmarks and talent availability in your areas of specialisation.
n
n
Requirements
n
n
~5+ years' experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally in a 360° (business development + delivery) agency role.
n
Proven track record of winning new clients and successfully delivering recruitment mandates.
n
Based in Sydney, with strong knowledge of the local talent market.
n
French speaking required (or a very strong plus), given regular collaboration with our France-based teams and clients.
n
Entrepreneurial mindset, hunter mentality, and strong communication and negotiation skills.
n
Experience working with founders or SMEs is a plus.
n
Ability to build rapport quickly and manage multiple stakeholders (clients and candidates) simultaneously.
n
Enthusiastic, sociable, proactive, and eager to grow into a leadership role within the Talent service line.
n
