Construction Lawyer | Associate / Senior Associate | Leading Practice

Montgomery Advisory is partnering with a leading law firm to recruit an Associate/Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Construction & Infrastructure team in Sydney.
n
This is an outstanding opportunity to work on complex construction and engineering disputes across some of Australia's largest infrastructure, renewable energy, transport, mining and industrial projects.
n
Working within a nationally recognised team, you will gain exposure to sophisticated contentious construction matters while developing your expertise in dispute resolution and project delivery.
n
The Role
n
You will advise on a broad range of construction and engineering disputes, including:
n
Construction and project delivery advice
n
Commercial dispute resolution and strategic claims
n
Negotiation, mediation and alternative dispute resolution
n
Adjudications and expert determinations
n
Supreme Court litigation and arbitration
n
Preparing pleadings, evidence, discovery, expert reports and Counsel briefs
n




Assisting with business development initiatives and monitoring industry developments
n
About You
n
You will have:
n
2+ years' post-admission experience in construction, commercial litigation or infrastructure disputes
n
Experience in contentious construction matters (preferred)
n
Excellent drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills
n
Strong commercial judgement and a practical approach to dispute resolution
n
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build solid client relationships
n
A genuine interest in developing a career in construction and infrastructure disputes
n
