The Role As a Biomedical Engineer, you'll be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and troubleshooting of medical equipment and devices.

Your responsibilities will include:

Installing, servicing, maintaining and troubleshooting medical equipment
n
Performing preventative and corrective maintenance
n
Diagnosing electrical, electronic and mechanical faults
n
Conducting equipment testing, calibration and safety checks
n
Providing technical support to hospitals, clinics and healthcare professionals
n
Maintaining accurate service and maintenance documentation
n
Ensuring work complies with relevant Australian standards, quality systems and regulatory requirements
n
Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal technical teams
n
Assisting with equipment upgrades, installations and commissioning
n

About You We'd like to hear from candidates who have:
n
n
A degree in Biomedical Engineering,
Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline
n
Experience with medical devices, biomedical equipment or healthcare technology
n
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
n
Positive knowledge of electrical and electronic systems
n
Excellent communication and customer-service skills
n
The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
n
A current Australian driver's licence
n
Full Australian working rights
n
n
Experience within a hospital, medical device manufacturer, medical equipment supplier or field-service environment will be highly regarded. Biomedical Engineering graduates with relevant internships, placements or hands-on medical equipment experience are also encouraged to apply.

Salary Guide 2–5 years' experience: $85,000–$105,000 + super
n 5+ years / strong medical device experience: $105,000–$125,000+ + super
n Specialist / Senior Field Service experience: $115,000–$140,000+ + super
