Position Overview:
n We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator / Detailer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in estimating and detailing timber roof trusses, wall frames, and floor systems. Knowledge of Cornerstone and/or Sapphire software will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Prepare detailed quotes for timber roof trusses, wall frames, and flooring systems.
n
Read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings accurately.
n
Generate layouts and cutting lists for production.
n
Liaise with builders, contractors, and internal teams to ensure design requirements and deadlines are met.
n




Assist in the design and optimization of timber structural components for cost-effectiveness and performance.
n
Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and industry regulations.
n
Maintain transparent and professional communication with clients and team members throughout the project cycle.

Skills and Experience
n
n
Prior experience in a timber truss and frame
estimating/detailing
role is essential.
n
Working knowledge of Cornerstone software is highly advantageous.
n
Strong understanding of timber framing, truss construction, and building standards.
n
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and specifications.
n
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
n
Effective time management and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
n
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
n
