About the Role
n
We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Casual Personal Care Assistants to join our team in a supportive rural aged care home. You will play a vital role in delivering person-centred care and enhancing the daily lives of our residents.
n
No two days are the same! As Personal Care Assistant, you will:
n
n
Provide personal care including assistance with showering, dressing and grooming
n




Support residents with mobility and safe manual handling
n
Assist with meals, hydration, and daily living activities
n
Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families
n
Observe and report changes in residents' health and wellbeing
n
Work collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team
n
Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans
n
n
About You:
n
You'll thrive with us if you have:

Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
n
Previous experience in aged care or a similar role (desirable)
n
A genuine passion for caring for older people
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
A positive, team-focused attitude
n
Ability to work across a variety of shifts
n
Understanding of person-centred care
n
Current National Police Check and relevant vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
n
Current NDIS WC (or willingness to obtain)
n
