Job Description
You'll work from engineering drawings and production specifications to fabricate aluminium frames, cabinets, brackets and components that become part of finished products. This is a hands-on role where the quality of your work is visible in the finished product.

Key responsibilities

Fabricate aluminium components and assemblies for digital signage and display products, working with materials including aluminium sheet, extrusion, angle and other fabricated components
n
Perform high-quality aluminium welding, primarily MIG, with a focus on clean, accurate and consistent finished work
n
Interpret drawings, dimensions and specifications to accurately manufacture components and assemblies
n
Work from individual components through to completed fabricated assemblies, including frames, cabinets, brackets, mounting systems and custom signage components
n
Take ownership of the quality of your work and ensure fabricated components meet the required dimensions, finish and specifications before moving through production
n
Measure, mark out and check your own work
n
Use hand tools and fabrication equipment safely and accurately
n
Work efficiently while understanding the importance of production efficiency, deadlines and keeping work moving through the factory
n

About you
n

Experience in aluminium fabrication and welding
n
Strong MIG welding skills
n
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
n
Good understanding of measurements, tolerances and fabrication techniques
n
Experience working with aluminium sheet and extrusion
n
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
n
Ability to work independently while also contributing to a production team
n
Positive problem-solving skills
