Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Financial Analyst to join a high-performing IT Delivery team, supporting the financial management of a portfolio of technology projects and programs.

The successful candidate will bring a robust background in project finance within technology or IT project environments, with hands-on experience managing project budgets, accruals, forecasting, actuals reporting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Manage project financials across a portfolio of technology and digital transformation initiatives.
n
Prepare and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
n
Monitor actual expenditure against budget and forecast, identifying variances and associated risks.
n
Coordinate month-end processes, including accruals, journals, and financial reporting activities.
n
Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to support project decision-making.
n
Partner with project delivery teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with governance requirements.
n
Support business case tracking, benefits realisation, and project financial performance reporting.
n
Develop and maintain reporting packs for senior stakeholders and leadership teams.

Key Requirements
n
n
Proven experience as a Project Financial Analyst, Project Accountant, or similar project finance-focused role.
n
Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, forecasting, actuals reporting, accruals,



and financial governance.
n
Previous experience supporting IT, technology, digital transformation, or enterprise project delivery environments.
n
Strong understanding of project lifecycle financial management and project portfolio reporting.
n
Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
n
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with both finance and technology teams.

This is a day rate contracting opportunity, with 3 days onsite work and 2 days work from home.
