We are currently seeking a Maintenance / Fitter Assistant to join a busy food production facility in Dandenong.
n
This is a great prospect for someone who is mechanically minded, switched on and reliable, with an interest in maintenance and working around machinery.
n
About the Role
n
You will work alongside the maintenance team, assisting with general maintenance of machinery and equipment throughout the site.
n
n
Assisting with maintenance on production machinery
n
Using hand tools for general maintenance tasks
n
Assisting maintenance tradespeople where required
n
Carrying out small repairs and maintenance tasks around the siteGeneral site maintenance and upkeep
n
Supporting the production team as required
n
Following workplace health and safety procedures
n
n
About You
n
You do not need to be trade qualified for this role.
n
n
Mechanically minded
n
Switched on and able to learn quickly
n
Reliable and punctual
n
Comfortable using basic hand tools
n
Practical and hands-on
n
Able to follow instructions and work safely
n
Willing to get stuck in and assist wherever required
n
Forklift licence preferred
n
n
Previous maintenance, mechanical, production or hands-on experience will be highly regarded, but the right attitude and mechanical aptitude are more important.
n
