KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
n
The Graduate Electrical Engineer coordinates efforts to optimise network performance and reliability, contributing to the overall success of infrastructure projects.
n
n
Conduct detailed studies and analysis of the existing 22kV network and the proposed *******V network for the purpose of overhead telecommunications fibre design or other installations.
n
Identify potential issues or constraints and propose solutions to optimise network performance
n




Develop comprehensive design plans for the transition from 22kV to *******V network and telecommunications infrastructure, including layout drawings, equipment specifications, and technical documentation
n
Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and safety regulations in all aspects of the network design
n
Coordinate and communicate effectively with electrical authorities, local councils, clients, and internal engineering teams
n
Obtain necessary approvals, permits, and clearances for the network design and construction
n
Address concerns, provide technical explanations, and ensure alignment with project objectives and stakeholder expectations
n
Assist with any ad hoc duties as required

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

MANDATORY HARD SKILLS

Knowledge and skills in the use of the required computer systems and applications
n
Current police clearance (or willingness to obtain one)

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
n
High level of attention to detail and ability to work proactively

Ability to work confidently both as part of a team and autonomously
