Construction / Manufacturing Labourer - Ongoing Work
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
Depending on the site, your day-to-day work may include:
n
n
General labouring, construction and production work
n
Assembly and manufacturing of products
n
Using hand and power tools, including grinders
n
Reading basic plans and taking measurements
n
Quality checking finished products
n
Assisting with machinery and forklift operations where licensed
n
Working with a range of materials and equipment
n
Maintaining a clean and safe work area
n
Following all site safety procedures
n
Learning new skills and taking on additional responsibilities
n
n
No two days are necessarily the same, giving you the opportunity to build experience across different areas of construction and manufacturing.
n
What We're Looking For

We're looking for people who are:
n
n
Reliable, punctual and ready to work
n
Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
n
Safety-conscious
n
Willing to learn and take direction
n
Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
n
Able to work independently and as part of a team
n
Comfortable working 8-12 hour shifts
n
Able to read basic measurements and plans
n
Hold a current driver's licence and have reliable transport
n
n
Experience is highly regarded, but attitude is more important. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
