Your Role
n
As a Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist, you will provide individual and group‐based therapy to children and adolescents, using a holistic approach to support their functioning, participation, and overall wellbeing. You'll have full autonomy to manage your schedule and tailor therapy plans to meet each child's unique needs.
n
This position follows an 80% caseload to 20% leadership model.
You will maintain a paediatric caseload while contributing to the strategic and clinical direction of the service. Leadership responsibilities equate to one day per week (approximately 6 hours) and are paid at a rate of $125-$130 per hour depending on your experience.

Leadership responsibilities include:
n

Clinical supervision for 1–2 junior OTs
n
Coordinating and delivering professional development and peer supervision
n
Cross‐disciplinary collaboration with the Psychology Team Lead
n
Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and clinical development
n
Driving quality improvement initiatives and reporting outcomes to management
n
Contributing to marketing, team planning, and business strategy as Key OT Team Lead
n
n
Caseload and Contractor Rates
n
Your caseload will be a mix of NDIS and private clients, offering strong variety and clinical diversity. Billing is based on the following fee structure:
n

NDIS Clients: $****** per hour
n
Private Clients:n

Initial Consultation: $265
n
Standard Consultation: $230
n
n
n
As a contractor, your earnings are based on a tiered percentage model that increases over time:
n
n
First 3 months: 50% of the billable rate
n
After 3 months: Increases to 55%
n
After 6 months: Increases to 60% ongoing
n
Leadership Responsibilities: $125-$130 per hour
n
n
In addition, report writing is paid at 75% of the billable rate, with flexibility to complete reports from home to maximise your in‐clinic hours.

Requirements

Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
n
Previous experience supervising junior clinicians
n
AHPRA registration
n
Unrestricted working rights in Australia
n
Drivers licence and own vehicle
n
