About the Role
n
As a Residential Youth Worker,



you will provide consistent support to children and young people living in residential care while helping them develop essential life skills and achieve positive outcomes.
n
n
Support daily routines, personal care, meals, and household tasks.
n
Build trusting and therapeutic relationships with young people.
n
Assist with education, appointments, recreation, and community access.
n
Promote emotional safety using trauma-informed practices.
n
Complete reports, documentation, and case notes accurately.
n

Skills & Experience
n
n
Hold, or be working towards, a relevant Certificate IV qualification.
n
Experience supporting children and young people.
n
Understanding of trauma-informed and person-centred support.
n
Current Driver Licence, First Aid, and CPR certification.
n
Current Blue Card and relevant worker screening clearances.
