A well-established, values-led community organisation is seeking a Human Resources Support Officer to join its collaborative People & Culture team. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR Coordinator or Administrator looking to broaden their experience across the full employee lifecycle within a purpose-driven environment.

Offering an immediate start, this role is an initial 3-month contract with the potential to transition into a permanent position. Based in Preston, the organisation also offers a hybrid working model.

The Opportunity
n
Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you will provide essential administrative and operational support across a broad range of HR activities. You'll work closely with the wider HR team to ensure people processes run efficiently and employees receive a positive and professional experience throughout their employment journey.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Coordinate recruitment activities including job advertising, interview scheduling and reporting.
n
Manage onboarding and induction processes for new starters.
n
Support employee engagement and performance review activities.
n
Coordinate learning and development programs, including mandatory training compliance.
n
Provide support across employee relations matters including performance, conduct and grievance processes.
n
Maintain employee records and HR systems to ensure data accuracy.
n
Monitor and manage shared HR inboxes.
n
Assist with workplace health, safety and wellbeing initiatives.
n
Support employment separation processes and exit interviews.
n
Contribute to HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
n

About You
n
To be successful, you will bring:
n
n
Previous experience in an HR administration, HR coordination or broader administration role.
n
Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
The ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively within a team.
n
A genuine interest in supporting positive employee experiences.
n
A qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline will be viewed favourably.
n
