Our client is delivering a business-wide Workday HCM transformation and is building a small, dedicated project team to design core HR and recruitment processes from the ground up.

About the Role
n
As HCM Specialist, you'll lead design thinking for Core HCM and Recruitment, working closely with the program lead and a Rem and Advantages specialist. You'll join a small, hands-on project team and play a central role in shaping how Workday translates into everyday business process, with no existing playbook to work from.

Duties / Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead design thinking for Core HCM and Recruitment, working alongside the program lead, with Core prioritised given its downstream impact
n
Define how out-of-the-box Workday processes will operate in practice, covering requisitions, budget access, position management and job architecture
n
Help build a pay and grading structure from scratch, partnering with a Rem and Benefits specialist
n




Translate system functionality into workable business process for an organisation without established HR processes to build from
n
Support the broader program as needed, with the role potentially extending into talent acquisition, learning and succession over time
n

Skills and Experience
n
n
Genuine HCM subject matter expertise, ideally including Workday, across Core and Recruitment
n
Background in HR or Payroll before moving into transformation or project work
n
Comfortable working without an established playbook, building processes from scratch rather than optimising existing ones
n
Financial services or private equity exposure is a bonus, not essential
n
Available to start quickly, ideally in time for discovery commencing 31 August ****
