Job Description
We are looking for a talented and creative Jewellery Senior CAD Designer with 5+ years of experience to join our design team based onsite in Alexandria, Sydney.

There is no ability for a working from home arrangement in this role.
n
In this role, you will be working closely with our Creative Director and Product Director on ideation, concept creation, development and refining products ready for production.
n
What you will do
n
n
Designing new products from concept and inspiration boards to final pieces
n
Responsible for all CAD aspects to get new products ready for production
n
Research and development of new mechanisms, clasps, connections and settings
n
Responsible for managing and meeting timelines in line with company design calendar
n
Documentation of all relevant design standards and rules to ensure consistent quality of all S&S; product.
n
Enter and track all design materials ordered and used by CAD designers
n
Responsible for creating style files for production,
n
Ensuring safe backups of files to ensure company IP and assets are protected
n
Work alongside our Creative Director and Product Director to create collections and product categories.
n
Rectifying quality control issues and improving products using CAD tools.
n

About you
n
n
You are creative at heart with incredible attention to detail and amazing organisational skills.
n
A self-starter who loves collaborating within a talented team.
n




Have minimum of 5 years experience as a Jewellery CAD Design with in the jewellery industry.
n
Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
n
Have advanced skills on software programs Matrix (Essential), Rhinoceros 3D, Trello and Google Suite.
n
Are extremely efficient and can work effectively to deadlines.
n
Have the ability to visualize designs and concepts and are technically minded.

This is a full-time contract with the benefit of a nine day fortnight, based at the SARAH & SEBASTIAN studio in Alexandria, Sydney.
