As a suitable candidate you will:
n
n
Hold a minimum of a Certificate III in Children's Services or be working toward a qualification.
n
A minimumof 1 year sector experience.
n
Have a current blue card, first aid certificate and recent CPR certificate and child safety qualifications.
n
Maintain a strong commitment to child safety, wellbeing, and the protection of children at all times.
n
Uphold and actively promote a child safe culture aligned with our policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
n
Build safe, respectful, and nurturing relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
n
Demonstrate professionalism and ethical conduct in line with our Child Safe Environment and Code of Conduct policies.
n
Identify, respond to, and report any child safety concerns in accordance with mandatory reporting obligations.
n
Support an inclusive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and respected.
n
Actively contribute to maintaining supervision, risk management, and safe practices across the service.
n
Be passionate and dedicated with a strong knowledge surrounding play-based education.
n
Have a desire to continuously improve your practices and knowledge through professional development.
n
A strong knowledge of documentation, program and planning, the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
n
A strong commitment to working as part of an engaged and professional team culture.
n
