About the role
n
As Demand Planner, based in Melbourne, you'll play a key role in ensuring we have a robust demand plan. Working across Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Planning, you will lead the development of a consensus demand plan, identify emerging trends and risks, and drive planning excellence through our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) framework.

Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts through analysis of historical sales, market trends, customer insights and business drivers.
n
Leading the monthly Demand Consensus process, facilitating alignment across Sales, Marketing and Finance to deliver a single, agreed demand plan and financial outlook.
n
Driving the demand planning components of our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Integrated Tactical Planning (ITP) processes, supporting informed cross-functional decision making.
n
Partnering with Supply Planning to balance demand and supply requirements, ensuring risks and opportunities are identified and managed proactively.
n
Monitoring and analysing forecast accuracy, bias and key planning performance metrics,



implementing actions to improve forecast outcomes.
n
Evaluating the demand impact of new product launches, promotional activity and key customer initiatives.
n

What We're Looking For
n
We're seeking an experienced Demand Planner who combines strong analytical capability with commercial acumen and a passion for process excellence. You'll be comfortable working with complexity, influencing stakeholders and using data to drive better business outcomes.
n
You will bring:
n
n
Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce, Economics, Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
n
Proven experience in Demand Planning and knowledge of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Integrated Tactical Planning (ITP) processes, with an appreciation of how demand planning supports effective business decision‐making.
n
Experience working with Advanced Supply Chain Planning systems.
n
Advanced analytical skills, with experience interpreting large and complex data sets to generate actionable insights.
n
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build alignment across functions and levels of the organisation.
n
A structured and disciplined approach, with strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
n
APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP or equivalent) will be highly regarded.
