The Opportunity
n
MacKellar is continuing its partnership with Aeris Resources, located near Nyngan, NSW. As we expand operations across the region, we're seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our high-performing maintenance team on a 7/7 rotating day and night roster.
n
This is an opportunity to secure long-term work on a new mining project with strong site leadership, and a team focused on safety, reliability, and getting the job done right.

About the Role
n
You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of heavy earthmoving equipment to ensure maximum fleet availability and safe operation across site.
n
n
Carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance
n
Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults
n
Conducting inspections and preventative maintenance activities
n
Maintaining accurate service and repair records
n
Working safely and effectively within a production mining environment
n
n
About You
n
n
Relevant Diesel Fitter / Heavy Vehicle Trade Qualification
n
Previous experience working within mining or heavy earthmoving environments
n
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
n
Commitment to safety and teamwork
n
Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
n
Current Driver's Licence
n
