Boston Built Pty Ltd is a fully integrated commercial builder and developer with a major pipeline of projects extending through to **** and beyond.

We're looking for an experienced, energetic and motivated Leading Hand Carpenter to join our growing construction team on our Arundel development comprising 115 industrial units.
n
This is not a role where you'll spend your days sitting in an office.
n
You'll be on the tools, leading from the front and working alongside your team every day.
n
We're looking for someone who knows how to get the best out of people, leads by example and genuinely enjoys being part of a team.
n
ABOUT THE ROLE
n
You'll be responsible for leading a team of up to 10 carpenters and construction workers, while remaining hands-on and working alongside them.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Leading and coordinating a team of up to 10
n
Planning daily works and allocating tasks
n
Working on the tools alongside your team
n
Driving productivity and maintaining high standards
n
Motivating and supporting your team
n
Coordinating with our construction management team
n
Working closely with our formwork, steel fixing, concreting, panel and crane crews
n
Maintaining quality and attention to detail
n
Ensuring safe work practices are followed
n
Reading plans and working to construction schedules
n
Identifying issues early and working with management to resolve them
n
Helping build a positive, productive and enjoyable site culture
n
n
YOUR EXPERIENCE
n
We're particularly interested in carpenters with experience in:
n
n




Pre-cast concrete panel manufacturing
n
Formwork
n
Commercial construction
n
Structural carpentry
n
Leading teams
n
Working in fast-paced construction environments
n
n
Experience in pre-cast panel manufacturing and formwork will be highly regarded, but we're ultimately looking for the right person with the right attitude and leadership ability.
