The Role
This is a hands‐on finance and administration role reporting to the Managing Director.
You will be the person who keeps EvoBuilt's financial and compliance obligations accurate and on time, and the office running behind them.
Finance and compliance (the core of the role)
Weekly payroll processing in Xero, including superannuation and Payday Super compliance
BAS and IAS preparation, review and lodgement
Accounts payable and receivable, batch payments and BPAY
Invoice entry and verification across Xero and Wunderbuild, with correct cost code allocation
Bank and account reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting
Subcontractor payment approvals and weekly debt management
New supplier setup, payment terms, bank detail verification and compliance documentation
Administration and people support




Employee file maintenance, leave, reimbursements and payroll adjustments
WorkCover claims
Company and trade insurance renewals and service provider insurance records
Office consumables, uniforms and supplier coordination
Document control across Google Workspace and SystemsHub
Supporting directors with scheduling, correspondence and client communication
What You Need
Essential
Minimum 3 years in a finance or office management role where payroll and BAS were yours, not someone else's
Demonstrated experience preparing, reviewing and lodging BAS and IAS — you will be asked to walk through your process
Advanced Xero: pay runs, superannuation, reconciliations, AP/AR.
A short live Xero exercise forms part of the interview
High accuracy under deadline pressure, with the discipline to check your own work
Current Victorian driver's licence
Available to work on‐site in Rowville, full‐time
Desirable
Construction industry experience
Wunderbuild similar construction management software
Cert IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, or ICB/IPA membership
ClickUp, HazardCo, SystemsHub
