WA Industrial Cylinder Engineersis a privately owned industry leader specialising in the manufacture, overhaul, and repair of hydraulic cylinders for heavy mining mobile equipment.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivatedAfternoon Shift Supervisorto lead our production team at our modern, well-equipped Perth workshop.

About You
You are a proactive leader with a strong mechanical background who enjoys developing people, improving processes, and delivering quality outcomes.
You will have:
Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Machining, Fitting & Turning, or a related discipline




Previous experience leading or supervising workshop teams within a manufacturing or heavy engineering environment
Strong understanding of machining, hydraulic cylinder repair, or heavy equipment maintenance
Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills
A strong commitment to workplace safety and quality
Experience working within quality management systems (ISO **** experience desirable)
Current Australian C Class Driver's Licence
Sound planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to motivate teams and achieve production targets in a fast-paced environment
Experience within the hydraulic cylinder industry is highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all afternoon shift workshop operations
Lead, mentor, and support production personnel to achieve safety, quality, and productivity targets
Allocate work and monitor production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company procedures and quality standards
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS requirements
Liaise with day shift supervisors and management to ensure smooth workflow and communication
Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
Maintain high standards of housekeeping, equipment care, and workplace organisation
