About the Role
Our ideal candidate is an experienced Senior Ecologist with robust skills in ecological surveys, assessments, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver ecologicalassessments,surveysandreporting across a range of projects
Manage projecttimelines,budgetsandclient relationships to ensure successful outcomes
Providetechnicalexpertiseineitherflora,faunaandhabitat assessments, including regulatory approvals
Mentor and support junior ecologists, fostering team capability and development
Oversee field programs,
includingplanning,logistics,andsitebasedrisk assessments
Contribute to business development through proposal writing,clientengagementandnetworking
About You
Tertiary qualifications in environmental science, botany, zoology, environmental science
6+ years relevant experience
Strong understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and environmental policies
Terrestrial flora and/or fauna survey experience, including the capacity to plan surveys and coordinate field teams
Demonstrated experience in project managing medium and large-scale development and/or biodiversity projects
Experienced in developingandmaintainingpositiverelationships with a range of stakeholders including clients,governmentagenciesandfellow team members
Demonstrated experience in the collection and interpretation of ecological and spatial data
Strong verbal and written communication skills including experience in preparing and reviewing reports – with a willingness to take responsibility for delivery of reports to final quality
Highly motivated witha strong teamcommitment
Be willing to work flexible hours and travel for work
