We are currently seeking an experienced HR Truck Driver to join our Milperra team. The role requires you to be agile, adaptive and able to work in a fast-paced environment all while delivering steel to our customers in a professional, timely and safe manner.

About You:
n
n
A valid HR licence with a clean driving record (manual experience required)
n
Strong knowledge of Sydney metro and regional road networks
n
Previous experience in steel distribution or warehousing (highly regarded)
n
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
n
A 'can do' attitude to work, flexible and able to work autonomously in a fast paced and dynamic work workplace
n
n

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Loading and unloading of steel products
n
Ensure material is securely restrained at all times
n
Present to clients in a courteous and friendly manner to promote and maintain company image.
n
Assist in maintaining vehicle in good working order completing any vehicle checklists as required
n
Ensure that all road rules including those pertaining to speed, load and tonnage requirements and that safety rules and regulations are strictly adhered to
n
n
