We are now looking to appoint an experienced Director, Employee Relations & HR Policy to champion our regional employee and industrial relations strategy across Asia Pacific.
n
This is a unique prospect for either an accomplished ER/IR practitioner or a senior employment lawyer looking to move into a strategic, business-facing advocacy role.
n
Partnering closely with executive group, legal stakeholders and HR teams, you'll help shape workforce strategy, navigate organisational change, manage risk and provide commercially focused outcomes across a complex, unionised and highly regulated operating environment.

What You Bring
n
We are looking for a commercially minded lawyer with deep expertise in employment and industrial relations and a proven ability to influence outcomes in complex organisational environments.
n
You may come from:
n
n
A senior Employee Relations or Industrial Relations leadership background
n
A workplace relations,
employment law or industrial law practice
n
An in-house legal, ER or HR advisory function within a large organisation
n
n
Your experience will ideally include:
n
n
Significant experience advising on employment, labour and industrial relations matters
n
Expertise managing workforce change, restructures, consultations and organisational transformation initiatives
n
Proven involvement in enterprise bargaining, collective negotiations and union engagement strategies
n
Experience advising senior executives on complex workplace risk, compliance and governance matters
n
Strong knowledge of employment legislation, industrial instruments and regulatory frameworks
n
Experience representing or managing matters before tribunals, regulators or dispute resolution forums
n
Demonstrated success operating in partnership with business leaders to deliver commercially pragmatic outcomes
n
Ability to influence and build credibility across executives, operational leaders, HR and Legal stakeholders
n
Experience working within or alongside large, complex organisations through secondments, embedded advisory arrangements or in-house roles
n
Exposure to APAC jurisdictions and multi-country employment environments will be highly regarded
n
