About The Role
n
RFDS Queensland Section is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - B1 to join the engineering team at Brisbane Base, supporting the maintenance and airworthiness of the RFDS Queensland fleet.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on RFDS fixed wing aircraft
n
Perform inspections, defect diagnosis and rectification in accordance with approved maintenance data
n
Certify maintenance work within the scope of licence privileges
n
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
n
Work collaboratively with the wider engineering team to ensure fleet availability for operations
n
Participate in an on-call roster supporting 24/7 operational requirements
n
Ensure compliance with CASA regulations and RFDS engineering procedures
n
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
CASA B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer licence
n
Demonstrated experience maintaining fixed wing turbine aircraft
n
Strong understanding of CASA regulatory requirements
n
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
n
Willingness to participate in an on-call/roster system
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
