About the Role

This strategic role supports the development of enterprise strategy, priorities, and organisational initiatives. Working closely with senior leaders, you will analyse complex issues, generate evidence-based insights, and develop recommendations that influence decision-making across the organisation. You will play a key role in shaping strategic direction, driving priority initiatives, and delivering outcomes with long-term impact.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse complex business challenges and develop strategic solutions
n
Deliver quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform decisions
n
Engage with stakeholders to refine and strengthen recommendations
n
Support senior executives in problem structuring and planning
n
Prepare high-quality briefings,



papers, and presentations

Lead and coordinate strategic projects and work programs

Skills & Experience
n
n
Experience in strategy development, consulting, or related fields
n
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
n
Advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities
n
Proven ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders
n
Excellent executive communication and brief writing skills
n
Experience delivering strategic initiatives in complex environments
n
Experience developing policy, strategic papers, and recommendations within government or regulated environments
n
Understanding of government governance frameworks, public sector operations, or policy development processes
n
Ability to translate strategic outcomes into practical implementation roadmaps and delivery plans
n
Experience supporting organisational transformation and business improvement initiatives
n
Proven capability engaging with governance forums, external partners, and executive committees
n
Experience preparing materials for Board, Executive, or Ministerial consideration and review
n
n
Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this position.
n
Previous government experience is preferred for this role.
