Service & Operations Manager – Plumbing & Electrical | $120k + Bonus

GHS Plumbing & Electrical is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Service / Operations Manager to take ownership of the day‐to‐day performance of our plumbing, HVAC and electrical service teams.
n
If you're an experienced plumber, trade supervisor, service manager or operations leader who knows how to run tradespeople, solve problems, keep customers happy and drive results, this could be your next move.
n
This isn't a role where you sit behind a desk watching spreadsheets all day.
n
You'll be right in the middle of the operation, supporting technicians, working with dispatch, reviewing jobs, solving problems, coaching the team and making sure we deliver a high standard of service every day.
n
What You'll Be Responsible For
n
Lead & Develop the Trade Team
n
n
Lead and support our plumbers, electricians and apprentices
n
Hold technicians accountable to performance and quality standards
n
Run regular one‐on‐ones, toolbox meetings and performance reviews
n
Coach technicians on customer service, communication and job performance
n
Work closely with our Plumbing/Electrical Team Leader
n
Help recruit, onboard and develop new team members
n
Build a strong culture of accountability, professionalism and teamwork
n
n
Drive Operational Performance
n
You'll take ownership of key operational KPIs including:
n
n
Revenue and sales performance
n
Technician productivity and utilisation
n
Average job value
n
Quote conversion
n
Callback and warranty rates
n
Customer satisfaction
n
Job completion rates
n
Labour efficiency
n
Materials and job profitability
n
Technician attendance and performance
n
n
You'll know what's happening across the operation and take action when something isn't performing.
n




Keep the Day Running Smoothly
n
n
Work closely with dispatch and administration to keep jobs moving
n
Make decisions when schedules change or problems arise
n
Assist with escalated customer issues
n
Review problem jobs before they become bigger problems
n
Ensure technicians have the information, materials and support they need
n
Improve communication between the field and office teams
n
n
Own the Customer Experience
n

Who We're Looking For
n
Ideally, you've come from a plumbing, electrical, HVAC or home‐services background and understand what it takes to run a successful field service operation.
n

Trade qualifications are highly regarded, particularly plumbing experience, but strong service‐management experience will also be considered.
